August 27, 2010: Deathly Hollows Photo Caption Contest.
The photo caption contest is now in full swing right here on the forums. If you listened to Staff Chat 19, then you know that we planned a photo caption contest. If you didn't listen, SHAME ON YOU! But I digress. This one's pretty easy. Pick any or all of the images below, and then write up a caption for it. The winners (one for each photo) will be selected by the staff before the next staff chat, and their names will be read abloud on Staff Chat 20. Have fun!
Here's a sample for you.

August 26, 2010: Design Changes and a Contest.
As LovlyRita mentioned, there have been some minor cosmetic changes around the site. Forum ranks have been modified to reflect entries indicative of being involved in talk radio rather than Harry Potter houses. Also, all your old post counts from HPFF had been moved over when the forums were copied; those have now been re-counted, so your post count now reflects posts at HPPC only. The member groups each have their own image with the HPPC logo under them as well, which is more appealing than the red Xs we had before.
On the main site, the "home" link has been removed; instead you can now click on the site title to the left to go home. A link has been added to make it easier for you to find the information on recording your own podcast, and a link has been added with staff bios - though some of us have yet to write ours. Finally, the FAQ has been majorly rewritten and formatted to be much easier to read and use. Just click a heading and - WHOOSH! - information pops out.
Stand by for a new announcement tomorrow; we'll be starting up a contest that you may have heard about if you listened to My Two Sickels 19.

August 12, 2010: Some Light Construction.
You may notice some small things changing around the site in the next few days as the staff of HPPC rally to make everything more user friendly and attractive! The forums and your ability to listen to podcasts shouldn't be affected in any way!

July 12, 2010: Left Behind.
The Staff of Harry Potter Fan Fiction who aren't lucky enough to go to Infinitus would like to take this opportunity to express their feelings at being left behind.
Musically.
You can also watch in the embedded player above by right clicking and selecting "Toggle Fullscreen" from the player menu, or view the video on YouTube.

We have now released 100 things on the HPFF Podcasts. Additionally, we have just rolled over to 100 Facebook fans. It's a real day for 100s.

June 22, 2010: Podcast Fever!
Podcast Fever is sweeping the site! It's becoming increasingly obvious even to me that you all really are out there, and you really are listening! I have a feeling that the remainder of 2010 will mean big things for the Podcast. So keep listening, keep reviewing, and keep recommending us to your friends! Thank you so much for your support - we couldn't do the Podcast without you listeners.

April 3, 2010: Greg McCarthy Rocks My Socks
He rocks a lot of other things, too. My hat, my shoes... pretty much my entire wardrobe, actually. This chat was a pleasure to do. I've only spoken to him for about 90 minutes but I dare say he's one of the most personable people I've ever met. His book is The Price of Life and I am so excited about it. Listen to the podcast, and please visit Greg's site at www.gregmccarthybooks.com.

March 15, 2010: Get Your Questions Ready!
HPFF will be interviewing an author in the very near future. The novel is a legal thriller called The Price of Life, and the author is Greg McCarthy. The novel was written during NaNoWriMo, something we're all familiar with. The book is up for preorder this summer and will be released in September. So even though it's not about Harry Potter per se, we thought this would be a great chance for you all who love writing to get inside the mind of a real, published author. So ask what you will - how to start a work or finish it, where inspiration comes from, or his favorite ice cream flavor. Anything! Ask questions on this thread and we'll ask the author. Also, watch the podcast for a special recording of the prologue in the next couple days.

February 6, 2010: Social Networks and Stuff!
I Know what you're thinking. I really do. "This new site is pretty fantastic," you're thinking. "But boy, I sure wish there were a way I could interact with the podcast more often, in more places. I mean, sure, I can visit the forums and make a lot of posts and discussions which I fully intend to start doing, but if only I could get instant notification when things happen here! Oh well." That's what you're thinking, right? RIGHT? Well hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen, because there are now two ways to do just exactly that, and they're both conveniently linked in the sidebar to your right. Follow us on Twitter and become our fan on Facebook! Then get your friends to become our fan and so on and so forth. Pretty soon we can rule the social networking world!

January 16, 2010: Hey look! The website works!
You should no longer need to visit alternative pages in order to listen to a podcast, and our fields are now all working properly. You can download new episodes whenever you like right from the site if you so desire. How awesome is that?
If you like what you see, then how about doing us a favor by voting for us on Podcast Alley, and starting up a conversation in our forum?

November 4, 2009: New Website!
The new website of the Harry Potter Fan Fiction podcast is up and running! Gone forever is the purple, black, and white set of boxes we used to have.
The HPFF Podcast Website - now with 80% fewer sharp edges!
Oh, by the by, we're still working on a few kinks, so lend us a bit of patience, will you? We promise we'll pay it back - with interest.
